Effect of Modified Citrus Pectin on PSA dynamics: Results of the interim analysis of a prospective phase II study - June 15, 2017
Interim results from Phase IIb clinical trial showed impressive and promising results in a prostate health study. The interim results have just been published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology in conjunction with the 2017 ASCO [American Society of Clinical Oncology] Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL. The interim findings of the clinical trial conducted at Meir Medical Center in Kfar-Saba, Israel demonstrated the ability of MCP to effect the PSA doubling time PSADT. Antioxidant Effects of a Polybotanical Multinutrient Formula - March 27, 2017
In a new study published in BMR Phytomedicine, Clinical Synergy’s IonShield, a polybotanical multinutrient formula, was analyzed for its antioxidant properties. This formula was shown to possess significant dose-dependent antioxidant activity over a broad range of concentrations. Specifically, the polybotanical formula was shown to inhibit lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced TNF-α production and inhibition of H2O2-induced lipid peroxidation. Additionally, both NF-kB activation and COX-II activity were inhibited. Demonstration of these mechanisms support the use of IonShield as a unique dietary supplement for the effects related to oxidative stress and free radical damage from environmental, technological, occupational and medical-related radiation exposure.
